As I said on the Home page, it’s neither simple or easy. At least not until you have mastered it. And those companies out there that want to sell you a one-time class on Saturday just want your money.

If you think of it in terms of your current or past occupation, chances are what you do/did is involved, and took a long time to master. It probably seems second nature to you now, but if you needed to train someone to take your place likely it would seem like a daunting task. And once you have trained someone, it will take months or even years until they have the benefit of your experience level. To expect anything different from a new career in trading is foolhardy.

What I offer is the opportunity to greatly reduce your learning curve, and hopefully avoid many of the mistakes and a lot of the pitfalls along the way. Not to mention the tens of thousand of dollars I spent!

As far as an investment is concerned, you will require an up-to-date computer with a high-speed internet connection. If you do not have an extremely large monitor, you will want to have at least two standard size screens. I have five, but really only use three actively.

Once you begin trading live, you will need to fund a brokerage account. There are brokers that will allow you to begin trading with just several thousand, or even less. I highly recommend against this! At a minimum you should have $5,000 to start, and $10,000 or more would be much better. And as in all things business, there is no opportunity that cannot be better exploited with more money.

The most important thing you will need though is time! The time to allow yourself how to learn this new skill without being under pressure. If you want to learn how to trade today because you need a way to earn enough to pay the mortgage next month it will never work. So in addition to the money in your trading account, you need the ability to support yourself while you’re learning, then while you’re trading in simulation mode, and then once you begin trading and are building up your account. In this regard, it’s no different than any other business you might start.

If you’re fortunate enough to live in the West as I do, the markets open early, and you might have time to watch the market before going to work.

My training fee is $1,500 for the education process described on the Process Page.

Stock, futures and futures options trading have large potential rewards, but also substantial risk of loss, is not for everyone and only risk capital should be invested.
